Mat-Su Valley Insulation is your Preferred Foam Roof and Coatings Contractor
Polyseal Insulation Roof Solutions
Are you building a new home and deciding on a foam roof?
Do you want a highly insulated and better performing roof?
Is your metal roof deteriorating or leaking?
Is your current rolled roof leaking?
Polyseal Insulation Can Help
The Polyseal Insulation Process
Polyurethane foam and our elastomeric coatings will SEAL and totally ENCAPSULATE your flat roof protecting it from the weather. Localized repairs are made if required to the roof. It is swept free of debris and sprayed with a layer of foam. Then our acrylic elastomeric coating is sprayed on top to protect the foam.
The result is a totally encapsulated, weather proofed and seamless roof, protected for years to come. You will of course benefit from exceptional insulation as well.
Protrusions are a prime source of trouble. Spray Foam self flashes to all protrusions (vents, pipes, etc...) There is no flashing tape or adhesive to peel away. The flashing becomes part of a seamless covering.
ELIMINATE SEAMS AND JOINTS
BASF's tenacious ability to adhere to most surfaces provides a watertight monolithic seal around penetrations, up parapet walls, and other parts of the structure without the use of mechanical flashings, in most cases.
BUILD POSITIVE DRAINAGE
Polyseal Insulation Polyurethane foam can be sprayed in various thicknesses to create positive drainage and eliminate ponding water. Ponding water is the principal indication of inadequate drainage, a frequent cause of roof leaks. Roof leaks accelerate roof deterioration.
ADD A WEATHER RESISTANT COATING
After the SPF has been applied by Polyseal Insulation to the proper thickness and finish specifications, a protective layer of elastomeric coating is added. This protective layer produces a UV resistant and sustainable surface.
DOE's new range recommendations are based on comparing future energy savings to the current cost of installing insulation. The Department of Energy lists the following reasons for providing a range of recommendations:
Polyseal Insulation Cool Roof Coatings
ENERGY STAR (DOE) qualified roof coating products reduce the amount of air conditioning needed in buildings, and can reduce energy bills by up to 50%.
The Cool Roof Program defines certain standards for solar reflectance, 3-year aged maintenance of reflectivity, and emmisivity in roof coating systems.
Reflectivity is the percentage of the sun's heat a roof keeps off a building, and emissivity is the percentage of heat a roof lets out of a building.
Polyurea Coatings for Residential Applications
Polyseal Insulation Polyurea is spray-on coating with high abrasion resistance, high chemical resistance, excellent durability, and excellent flexibility. Vendors and manufacturers have developed formulations to cover a very wide variety of requirements from extreme surface hardness to extreme elongation. Our job as coating system contractors is to determine all the specifics of your project and select the right polyurea and top coats (if needed).
